Not having cable is kindof a blessing. Since I'm too cheap to pay for it and get poor reception (though in happy irony Ch. 7 comes in great!) I don't have to see Ann, Katie and Matt anymore. They are all pseudo-journalists in my opinion - they pretend like they are trying to 'grill' people and do the tough stories. After watching the Tom Cruise interview clip a couple of times, it was clear that Matt doesn't have the cajones to go for the hard answers. He just threw softball questions and tried to make it look good. Over it.

I agree, TOS. I hate all three of them. They're all awful. Did you notice though, when Matt would interview any democrat/liberal during 2004 he was pretty nasty. Sucked right up to the good ol' boys, though (from the few interviews I watched). He's a corporate whore. I don't watch that program AT ALL anymore.

The Today show has become very conservative! Katie is always getting her knickers in a twist over something or other. We tend to watch either of the other channels now!

Well, Katie Couric is one of the biggest liberals out there, guys. She's a HUGE Democrat and you can usually tell when she is interviewing Republicans. She and Ann Coulter got into it two years ago and it was one of the best cat fights ever.

Ann Curry is pretty abysmal, but...I do like her new longer hair-do. :)

Matt Lauer golfs with Bush and co. He is not objective. During the election, Michael Moore asked Matt during an interview when Matt was skewering him about Fahrenheit 911, why he could be so tough interviewing himself but not on any of Bush and Co while we were being misled into war. He hit the nail on the head. I lost all respect for Matt after that interview. Katie, on the other hand, is not only a liberal but a liberal from VA. Her family including her now deceased sister (a democrat) was an elected state official in VA for many years.

Hey folks - don't know if there is mroe than one interview, but here's one...

I am seating in from of my laptop as AL Roker does an interview on "Pilates in th Hood" - great, whatever. But anyway, they pan back to the news studio and Ann Curry looks like someone just sucked the air out of her lungs and she just shakes her head like a kook??? Taking up millions of dollars of air time just preaching about how obiously wonderful this program is??? ANd slaps Roker on the back telling him, "good story Al". She makes me sick most mornings to the point......well, to this point! I fear her presence - and her wack eyes - that stare you down and talk about NOTHING.

Oh so right!!! Ann consistantly stumbles and has a hard time regaining her composiour. she acts like someone she is not=a real reporter. and the amount of money these imposters make at this "carreer" is astronomical!! millions of dollars to ask questions and travel for free!!!!
also if you notice you never see pakistani or indian people doing "hard" work for example-police officers,mailmen,construction etc they pic the high end high paying easier jobs-look at cnn now they have about 4 of them there, soon they will be on the big ones. they already mastered the medical, engineering, IT, etc. whats next!!
