Home Sweet Home
I'm home! Finally. I have to say that the staff at Georgetown were awesome. So if you ever find yourself having seizures, it's a good hospital to go to.
I'm exhausted. Apparently, I did a shitload of damage to my muscles. I just need to drink lots of water and slowly go back into working out.
Anyway, this ordeal has made me realize what an amazing partner and friends and acquaintances I have. You know who you are. You never know who your true friends are until something like this happens. I've also received some of the nicest emails from people I don't even know. Means a lot. Thank you all!
And no Jimbo, there was no foaming at the mouth. This wasn't like a "scanners" seizure (although it was close).
My parents are coming down today and staying for a few days. I look forward to seeing them. They will pamper me and I will let them.
Here are a couple guys (and me) that have helped me out so much the past week. Love them:

If you see them, please praise them. Thanks.

Glad to see you are okay and going to be okay. I hope Bob writes a song about it.

Glad you're home! Now you can get back to your busy schedule of sitting on the couch and doing nothing. Here are some movies I recommend you watch while your re-couping:
1) Junebug - Sweet southern movie (got an Oscar nod for Amy Adams who is awesome in it)
2) The Constant Gardner - Complex and interesting (got another Oscar nod for Rachel Weisz)
3) Little Britain - British sketch comedy that is hilarious -expect lots of drag queens
4) Veronica Mars - Season One - You'll dig it
5) Lord of the Rings (what list would be complete without it?)
Ok, hope you find at least one of these to your liking. BIG HUG - Matteo

It is good to have you home. The staff was amazing at GT. Ira was a godsend and our friends are amazing. (See pervious post) For the record: While he did not foam at the mouth he did leave a puddle of saliva on the pillow (more than usual).

so if it wasn't like scanners, was it like Julia Roberts in Steel Magnolias? :p
good to hear you're recovering at home. be gentle with your body--its the only one you've got.

Thanks for the clarification on the foam issue. I just want to know what a human siezure is like so next time I mack with you you won't bite my (or your) tongue off.
I've only seen siezures in our old cocker spaniel, who was overbred and would just spontaneously tip over and sieze up, then get up as if nothing happened 5 minutes later.

I love you, but you were supposed to call me when you got home, you loser! I was afraid to call and be a pest, so call me. I'm coming to see you guys whether you like it or not. I miss you both. I love you.
