The Meaning of Cocktail
I recently commented to a fellow blogger's post. He wrote a goodbye letter to a cocktail. He basically said, "Today is the last cocktail I will have. Tomorrow I am starting over without you."
So I told him that alcohol is evil and listed all the perks to not drinking; no hangovers, save money, no unnecessary calories, feel healthier, blah, blah.
He wrote me back and said, "Thanks for commenting, but the cocktail I was referring to was in relation to my HIV meds. I thought the line about AZT would make that clear."
Um, oh. Drink away!
I am not that bright. Obviously.

I'm a little disappointed. When I saw the title of this post, I thought you were going to deconstruct the Tom Cruise/Elisabeth Shue movie from the 1980's.

Umm.... Well.. speaking of the "OTHER" cocktails.. we debated what constituted a cocktail!
So gays say it for a beer, others a rum dumped into some coke! But is that really a cocktail? or does it have to be something fruity, and really mixed!
I know I know.. You also told me that alcohol is evil so I guess I shouldn't care.
