Lying Still in a Box, Going Nowhere, Nothing Happening
Oops
Oh, the irony.
I really have nothing to add so I'll let TMZ do it for me.
Jerry Falwell 1933-2007

We should all dress up like Tinky Winky and head over to Liberty University to pay our respects.

I thought about typing the usual "thank God that fat tub o'lard is gone" post, but why sink to that level. ;-) If there is a God, I take pleasure in knowing that this guy now understands the truth about being gay. Still its upsetting that his message of hate and ignorance, will be carried on by thousands who absorbed his words. He truly did more to polarize and damage the true meaning of Christianity, than he realized. No loss in his departure.

Minor correction, TJ: Falwell founded Liberty University in Lynchburg. His colleague-in-nuttiness-if-not-in-obesity Pat Robertson founded Regent, which is in Virginia Beach.
Both institutions, I believe, are listed in the fourth tiers of their respective categories by U.S. News & World Report's guide to the best colleges and universities.
Thank you, sir. Corrected!

As Mumi said to me last night when I broke the horrible news to him, "Ding dong, the witch is dead..."

"Thank you, sir!"
It *totally* turns me on when you say that.
Uh, did I just say that out loud?

I wish I could go just to see the two groups at odds w/each other. If the 'enemy of my enemy is my friend', which side do I choose? Oh, the delicious irony.
