Snuggles

Jimbo called and said, "OMG! A snow storm is coming! A snow storm is coming! You need to stock up on water, saltines and potted meat NOW!!!"

So, to keep warm, I would like these items from Vik Prjonsdottir for X-mas, please:

The Beard Cap:
Woof

The Sealpelt:
Mmmmmm

The Twosome Blanket:
Let's cuddle.

Take your pick. The sealpelt is my fave. Thanks.

Clyde has taken a shine to me. For now, he's my furry snuggle blanket. He follows me everywhere and whines if I close a door to be alone. When I use my laptop, he comes over, rests his head on it and uses his paws to get me to pay attention to him. So needy! Today I was lying on the couch, he came over, climbed on top of my chest with his 100 pound body and curled up in a ball. Um, no.

He tries to be all butch and tough with other dogs, but when he's behind closed doors, he's a cuddle pig. Here he is looking all bad ass with his silver bling:

Cuddle Pig

Now here he is, lying on my leg, stretching out away from his blanket, as I'm using my laptop:

Cuddle Pig

This is who he is really like:

Cuddle Pig

I sense he's gonna miss me when we head abroad in less than 2 weeks. It's gonna be crazy until then. I'm kinda nervous.

* I first discovered the items above from The Blog Blog, which is also where I discovered the edible anus. Good stuff!

Aww.. I just LOVE that first Clyde pic :-)

You neglected to mention of course that you'll be pining even more than him!

Of course he's cruising BMB... I think he 'I Like'd me recently... but I just thought he was an 'I Like' collector so I didn't do it back.

Looks like someone/dog was browsing bigmusclebear/dog.com. Cute.

TJ, where are you going???

Posted by: homer at December 5, 2007 08:49 AM

Hmm... Clyde reminded me of someone... hmmm... someone who said he doesn't like kids but when his nephew sent him cute emails, he melt like a cub... I wonder who that is?

I personally LOVE the Twosome Blanket. Do you know if they make a Threesome Blanket? Clyde is an adorable snuggle buddy. The fact that he is needy makes a soft spot in my heart for him! My two Dacshunds are small enough to both rest on my chest without being too heavy. At night, they typically sleep between each of my arms. :)

DB: A blanket for a thruple is a great idea! My grandma could knit it, and I could sell them on HSN or Linens 'N Things. I'd make a fortune.

Love the BMB on the computer screen!

Posted by: patrick at December 5, 2007 10:40 AM

Is Clyde pointing to a particular Big Muscle Bear on the screen that he is hot for?

DB: I think he's pointing at someone who goes by "Scrummy" or something.

Posted by: Boomer at December 5, 2007 10:50 AM

Um, the "seal pelt" looks like a big, quilted cooter.

One of the few things I like about cold and snow, aside from the visuals, is if you have access to warmth and comfort and snuggly things. Having a bf to snuggle with is better. Sex in a living room in front of a fireplace is something I miss in particular.

The Seal-pelt might be an ok replacement, though.

Clyde reminds me of, um.....Me!

Posted by: Mark at December 5, 2007 02:01 PM

Scrummy?!?!? That Queen?!?!?!?!?

Posted by: Boomer at December 5, 2007 04:57 PM

Better idea that the thruple blanket is the "Big Love" blanket (you know for the upscale polygamist)...open an outlet store in Salt Lake City selling to stylish Mormons and you'll be RICH!

DB: Even better!!! But I'd rather call it the Boomer Blanket. If any seamstresses are reading this, email me. Mommaw can't do it all.

Posted by: Boomer at December 5, 2007 05:03 PM

Tell mommaw the beard cap will have to be knitted in an acrylic since it will require regular washings with all the moustache rides you'll be giving.

Darn. I was hoping Vic was a hot Swede...

The sealpelt. Wow. I knew you were furry, but I didn't know you were a furry.
