TJ - I love your country, I really do .. But I just don't know that I could live there with shit like that going on!

Obviously Palin is just too much of a soft touch, I mean if she were serious about banning any books, why didn't she just walk into the library sprinkling a can of gasoline around and drop a few lit matches. That would take care of all that pesky pro-homo literature (and hopefully her as well)

Back in my day, we had a community book burning day! Why, we gathered up all of the objectionable books, and lit them afire, and toasted marshmallows. Afterwards we bobbed for apples!

Good to see Kilkenny's identity confirmed. I'd read that e-mail from her about Palin's inquiries and wondered if it was legit. And it is. You should link to that e-mail that talks about Palin's history in Wasilla from the librarian's point of view.

I am sure Palin is already planning a big Kristallnacht celebration for The Gays in case she wins the November election.

I have given money to Obama four times so far. This post just motivated me to donate again.

Just watched a couple of clips from the Charles Gibson interview and last night read the cover story from Newsweek Magazine (written by her friends in Alaska and the McCain Campaign staff). Wish I could say something encouraging, but she photographs well (not to mention her husband and kids) and knows just how to couch her phrases. The so-called liberal media just rolls over for people like her. She's good at camouflaging her her staunch conservatism (the same thing we have endured for the last eight years) and her inept administrative abilities. I don't know how they can claim to be bringing change to Washington when politically she's a carbon copy of the current president, except in a skirt and a Paula Abdul hairstyle.

oh, you know this is just a trumped up charge concocted by that crazy, liberal news media to discredit Palin, right? Because I'm sure a right wing, superchristian woman who was elected by her church would NEVER want to actually ban books...

People voted for GWB because "he was someone they could picture themselves having a beer with". I can see the same stupid reasoning applying to Ms. Hockey Mom.

She is a frightening and dangerous woman. I hate to imagine what will happen in this country if McCain and that woman get into office.

Have watched much more of the Charles Gibson interview. I take it back-- she is clearly alarmingly indequate to be the US VP. She would probably make a GREAT channel 4 weather girl. Oh wait, she obviously has no understanding of anything to do with the climate.... scratch that.

Too hard working for Palin? Jesus, imagine trying just to *live* under her authority. ::shudder::

Her religious beliefs ARE almost the most frightening tenets that should PREVENT her from even running. Anybody believing in a "RAPTURE" in 2008, and in ARMAGEDDON will have this country finished off before 4 years are done. I hadn't seen this video, THANKS ..............THANKS. IT MUST take an angry informed public to save what we have left in this country.

it is absolutely terrifying that this hyped up sunday school teacher thinks she has the credentials to lead this nation. how does governing a state with a smaller population than most US cities get someone on a ticket to be a potential president?!?!?!? it's totally insane... are you sure this isn't just some sort of waking nightmare or shared hallucination?
