How to Tell If The Internet Is Rotting Your Brain and Turning You Into a Social Misfit (In One Easy Step!)
Maybe y'all already knew of this feature...but I hadn't.
I was using the latest version of Firefox to browse X-Tube do some work-related research online. Not sure why or how exactly this happened, but I right-clicked on a page and chose the "View Page Info" option. Once there I selected the Security icon (again, NO IDEA WHY!) at the top. That's when I let out a feminine yelp and covered my mouth with my shaky hand.
In the middle of that info page was a section called Privacy & History that lists whether or not you have frequented the site before and, if so, the number of times you have accessed it.
The number was alarming, especially since it was a site of no real importance to me. What the dealio, man?
So then I started right-clicking on all of the sites I regularly read to investigate their access numbers. MISTAKE! When I opened my page info for Facebook I was so horrified, I promptly vomited.
I am turning my computer off for the rest of the night and heading to the gym now. Take care.

Who Said It?
I'd like to introduce you to a brand new regular feature on this site called Who Said It. I will post an actual quote someone said or wrote recently and you have to guess its original source. ARE YOU EXCITED OR WHAT?!?
Here is the quote from the very first installment of Who Said It:
"I get that you hate me cuz I'm young, beautiful, smart, humble, yet at the same time I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks."
Did narcissistic and honesty-challenged reality star/trainwreck, Tila Tequila, say it? Or did self-described "popular" Baton Rouge blogger, Brettcajun, say it?
Tila Tequila or Brettcajun?
Tila Tequila or Brettcajun?
Tila Tequila or Brettcajun?
Tila Tequila or Brettcajun?
Tila Tequila or Brettcajun?
Tila Tequila or Brettcajun?
Tila Tequila or Brettcajun?
Tila Tequila or Brettcajun?
Phone lines are now open! POW!

Kathy Griffin Meets Michelle Bachman
UPDATE: Hilarious. Our little Kathy-Griffin-mocking-Michelle-Bachman-video was picked up by right-wing blogs Politico and Big Hollywood (was linked on their front page -- losers!) and MinnPost.com. Thanks to those right-wing sites, teabaggers have taken over my YouTube page, leaving comments like this:
"it's better than spending money on amyl nitrate, butt plugs, and whatever
other sick shit you sick bastards do! why would you do something that
would destroy your immune system? then when you get sick..it's us
teaparty people that will pay for your medicine and burial!"
Lovely!
Please help shut 'em up so my page is clean and pure again!

Like all the other homosexuals in DC, I attended a rally hosted by Kathy Griffin at Freedom Plaza today. She's in town to terrorize the bigots on Capitol Hill who oppose repealing Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Hi John McCain!
The following is a video that Rob shot of Kathy describing her first run-in with infamous fearmongering crazypants Michelle Bachman:

I'm hearing rumors that Lt. Dan Choi wasn't allowed to speak at the rally. Hmmm:

He didn't bumrush the stage or anything. And Kathy didn't seem to mind. In fact, she welcomed him to speak, as if it were planned. But I dunno. Nothing seemed contentious at all.

Anyway, I thought it was an entertaining way to engage people on the issue and get them involved. Look how patriotic it made me!

iPhone Anonymous
Oh look -- iPhones are addictive. 12-steps, people!
Intervention needs to do an episode on this. And I'll gladly submit a few names to the producers for consideration.

Young Chuck
After staring at Michael Kors' well-endowed naval for over a week, let's purge that image from our minds and look at cute kitten photos instead!

Awwwwwww. That's what Chuck looked like 3+ years ago. And again we say awwwwwwwwww.
How could his previous owner have possibly banished this adorable creature to a cold, dark and cramped closet every single night just so he wouldn't be disturbed in his one-room apartment while getting man-hammered by a horny stranger? Luckily for Chuck, those days are over.
His eyes are no longer blue like that -- they're yellowish. Dunno why they changed.
Cats are making a comeback, y'all. Secure men are openly admitting they dig these under-appreciated and loyal cuddle furballs. Ain't no shame.
Check out this video of Chuck's doppelgänger:
I must buy some balloons this weekend! Awwwwww.

Thorn In My Hole

It's my duty to inform you that Everything But The Girl's Tracey Thorn and Courtney Love's Hole both have new records coming out soon. And, as part of their promotion, they are each making a song available to download for free. Yay!
Tracey's new album Love And Its Opposite will be released on May 18, 2010 and you can download or stream the first single "Oh, The Divorces!" here.

If any of you are wondering if Tracey's music is still a barrel of laughs and party favors, this photo suggests, WHY YES -- YES IT STILL IS!
Hole's album Nobody's Daughter is out at the end of April. Download the surprisingly good "Skinny Little Bitch" here before they pull the plug on the offer.
Just thought you should know cuz I'm nice like that.
